Services are held at 11:00 am every Sunday. Nursery care is offered at all services for very young children and Religious Education classes for 4 year olds through 5th grade are also offered at all services.
Our typical service includes:
Announcements: News and information about events in our community and other matters of interest to the congregation.
Music: The congregation usually sings several hymns together during the service. Many services feature special musical performances by the choir, church members or other musicians.
Meditation/Prayer/Guided Thought: This is a time when people may choose to pray, meditate, or simply enjoy a moment of reflection.
Joys and Concerns: Community connections are strengthened through this weekly sharing of personal joys and concerns.
Story for All Ages: Children participate in the first part of services. There is often a story or a special message from the Minister, Director of Religious Education or from a member of the congregation. The children then go to their classes.
Sermon or Discussion: Usually a talk from some informed person about a specific topic, and sometimes an organized discussion in which we share our own thoughts and feelings.
