Barbara Beier, one of UUCCV’s longest-serving members, passed away peacefully on January
29th.

Barbara gave generously of her time and talents to our congregation, serving in leadership roles including President and Treasurer. She was deeply committed to racial justice and was an active member of the Burke County NAACP. She also had a great love for music, playing accordion, piano, and organ, as well as singing in our choir.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life was held at UUCCV on Tuesday, February 4th at 10AM.

We hold Barbara’s family and those who cared for her in our thoughts in this time of transition.
